Industry: Manufacturing
Solution: EDIStech B2B Order Entry Web Portals

Bremworth faced significant challenges due to the rising demand for digital transactions and time-consuming manual order entry processes, which hindered their growth. By partnering with EDIStech, they implemented a custom EDI solution that streamlined order management through a centralized portal for carpet dealers in New Zealand and Australia. This portal allowed for seamless integration with their ERP system, eliminating manual data entry and improving operational efficiency. The result was a more scalable, efficient process, positioning Ecostore to meet the growing demand for electronic transactions.

The Pain Points:

  1. Rising Demand for Digital Transactions: Bremworth has a plethora of clients who want to trade electronically, highlighting the growing demand for digital transactions.

  2. Manual Order Entry - A Time-Consuming Process: Customer service clerks at Bremworth have been manually keying in orders, which is a time-consuming and error-prone process.

  3. Manual Processes Limiting Business Growth: The business has been stifled due to these manual processes, hindering its growth and operational efficiency.

The EDI Solution:

  1. Streamlined Order Management with Custom EDI Portal: EDIStech developed an Order Entry Portal specifically for Bremworth, streamlining the order management process.

  2. Centralized EDI Portal Access for Carpet Dealers: Multiple carpet dealers across New Zealand and Australia now have the capability to enter carpet orders directly into this centralized EDI Portal.

  3. Seamless ERP Integration: Orders entered through the Portal are seamlessly integrated and loaded directly into Bremworth’s ERP system, eliminating the need for manual data entry and enhancing operational efficiency.

One Order Entry EDI Portal For Multiple Retailers

Bremworth had many carpet dealers throughout New Zealand and Australia sending them orders by fax and email. These orders were manually keyed into Cavalier’s Order Entry System via a host of Customer Service Representatives.

The Group IS Manager, Trevor Jones, wanted all dealers to connect to Bremworth via a single conduit for orders to be received. EDIStech implemented a B2B Web Portal Order Entry site. This Portal gives dealers not only the ability to key orders, but to perform;

  • Real Time Stock Enquiries

  • Reserve Stock

  • Review and order stock on Clearance

  • Access resources on carpet care and Cavalier’s manufacturing processes for end consumers.

The next step for Bremworth is to connect electronically to key Suppliers thus improving efficiencies in their entire supply chain.

You can try implementing EDI yourself – It’s tough! Use EDIStech who are a niche player in EDI"
